Engagement Policy Statement
Statement Regarding the Shareholder Rights Directive
Under COBS 2.2B.5.R of the Financial Conduct Authority's Handbook, investment firms must disclose whether they have a policy in place regarding shareholder engagement and monitoring of the companies in which they invest (an “engagement policy”).
If an investment firm does not have an engagement policy, it must disclose this fact and explain why.
36 South does not invest in companies. We do not invest in instruments which carry voting rights. Therefore, an engagement policy has no applicability to 36 South's investment strategy.
